Ella joined the Centre from the University of Birmingham where she has held a variety of strategic project, programme and communications management roles over 13 years. Most recently she has overseen a variety of centres, institutes and programmes across the social sciences with funders ranging from the NIHR to the AHRC and ESRC. Ella established and currently leads a flourishing Research Support Community of Practice and recently developed a Sustainable and Inclusive Research Practices toolkit for the social sciences. She is passionate about knowledge exchange and enabling innovative research that makes a tangible impact on society. Ella has an MSc from Cranfield University in Water Management, where she undertook her thesis in Malawi and volunteered in Cameroon.
