Stephen D. Agyeman research focuses on using socio-economic analysis and evidence review tools to assess economic viability of innovative industrial and building decarbonisation technologies, fuel poverty reduction policy, electricity market regulation, and green and transition minerals policy. Stephen is currently a Research Associate at the Centre for Energy Policy at University of Strathclyde.
He previously worked at the Xiamen University and the World Bank, leading research on industrial energy demand assessments, electricity market regulation and its role in innovation and climate change mitigation. Stephen is a researcher at EDRC Equity Theme leading economic viability assessment on Heat as a Service (HaaS) as a viable decarbonisation strategy to reduce fuel poverty in the UK. He is part of the Developing solutions to fuel and transport poverty challenges project.
