Samuel Betts-Davies EDRC

Samuel Bett-Davies is studying for a PhD in ecological economics titled understanding the impact of household income, consumption and energy-use redistribution on UK energy demand and CO2 emissions reduction. Previously, Samuel worked as a research assistant in the Centre for Research in Energy Demand Solutions (CREDS) in the Sustainability Research Institute at the University of Leeds, contributing to projects such as the Positive Low Energy Futures, which explored the potential for energy demand reduction to contribute towards climate mitigation in the United Kingdom. Given these research interests, Samuel’s involvement in EDRC is within the Futures theme, supporting the analysis and providing evidence on distributional considerations within low-energy futures.
