Maria is a PhD student at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at UCL. She is researching equity in the increasingly electrified transport system, particularly the impacts of demand-side response technologies. She is passionate about promoting and bringing about climate justice, and hopes that her research will help to guide policy for a just transition.
With a background in physics, Maria will be using quantitative methods such as agent-based models to generate insights into how different policies impact the equity and wellbeing of the population.
