Long Zhou

Long Zhou is a Research Associate at Centre for Energy (CEP) at University of Strathclyde. He joined CEP in March 2022, after a PhD in applied macroeconomics at Cardiff University. His PhD research was a Welsh-Government-funded project in modelling devolved tax variation policy effects for the Welsh economy, where he developed his expertise in Input-Output analysis and Computable General Equilibrium modelling. His academic research interest lies on environmental, energy, fiscal and inequality issues modelling in a various context including aging, technological change and a just decarbonization transition towards net-zero.
