Dr. Llinos Brown is a research fellow at the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds. Her research interests focus on understanding and reducing energy demand, and how we transition quickly to a fair low carbon society. She has experience applying social science research methods such as interviews, focus groups and surveys to research topics.
Her recent work has focused on the longitudinal impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on transport and lifestyles of people across the UK. She has also worked with Scottish Government to examine public perceptions towards the Government’s target to reduce car kilometres by 20% by 2030, and her PhD research applied a mixed methods approach to examine energy cultures in a workplace.
