Gesche Huebner ERDC

Gesche is Associate Professor at the UCL Institute for Environmental Design & Engineering. In EDRC, she conducts empirical research on inequalities related to energy and the built environment, leads on mapping out the equity space, and engages with a wide range of stakeholders.

Gesche is committed to promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and serves as Director of EDI in her department. Gesche also champions open science practices.

Her previous research focused on determinants of energy consumption and temperatures in homes, the link between temperatures and health and how climate change might impact on this relationship.

Gesche also works as Principal Research Fellow in the UCL ENergy Institute where she is Co-Investigator in the Energy Demand Observatory and Laboratory (EP/X00967X/1).
She has a background in Psychology / Neuroscience (PhD).
