Dr Alba Fuertes is an Associate Professor in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Reading. She has joined the Futures theme to undertake research on the Residential Air-conditioning Demand Futures (RADFutures) project.
Her current research addresses climate adaptation and resilience in the built environment, with a particular focus on the impact of rising temperatures on vulnerable societal groups. She has previously led and undertaken several EU and ERDF funded projects on energy demand, energy efficiency and energy generation and storage technologies.
