Adelmo is the Senior Communications Officer at the Energy Demand Research Centre (EDRC), based at the University of Sussex, Brighton. He has a BA in English and Film Studies and MSc in Marketing and Consumer Psychology from the University of Sussex.
Before joining the EDRC team, he worked for the University of Bristol as Education Administrator, Senior Education Administrator and Communications Coordinator for the School of Education.
In his role, Adelmo looks after the internal and external daily communications of the centre: promoting its research, managing its social media presence, updating its website, advertising the centre’s events, and drafting the monthly EDRC newsletter.
His goal is to showcase EDRC’s interdisciplinary research, communicating the benefits of reducing energy demand in industry, businesses, transport and homes.
