Becky Hart has over 20 years’ experience in the fields of energy, environment and sustainability. Currently working at the National Energy System Operator (NESO) as Head of Flexibility and Electricity Market Development, her team is responsible for designing the electricity markets needed to operate a secure, cost-effective and clean power system in 2030. Prior to this role, Becky has worked in environmental management at power stations, as a sustainability consultant for a large multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and leading on responsible business for an off-grid energy supply. This diverse experience gives her a unique take on the challenges of the energy transition.
