Mr. Dustin Benton
Director of Sustainability
Dustin is Managing Director of Sustainability at Forefront Advisers, providing intelligence-led insight to public affairs and investment teams across the UK, Europe and around the world. He focuses on a range of issues including the food chain and regenerative agriculture, decarbonisation, and the reknitting of the UK and EU’s sustainability policies back together.
In his previous role as policy director at Green Alliance, Dustin lead work across energy, resources, and the natural environment, with a particular focus on getting on track to net zero emissions. Between 2020-21, he was chief analytical advisor to the National Food Strategy and Defra’s lead analyst on food vulnerabilities during the pandemic. Before joining Green Alliance, Dustin worked for the Campaign to Protect Rural England where he led work on the relationship between landscape protection, climate change, and new energy infrastructure. He holds an MA in Political Thought and Theory from the University of Birmingham and an MA in International Relations and French from the University of St Andrews.
