Our launch event outlined plans for the Energy Demand Research Centre (EDRC) over the next 5 years and welcomed a keynote presentation from Bea Natzler from The Climate Change Committee, a Call to Action on Energy Demand and research summaries from our 5 Theme Leads. During our launch we addressed the unique opportunity to realise benefits from energy demand reductions in industry, businesses, transport and homes and explored the delivery of integrated technological and social change to rapidly reduce emissions, secure prosperity, reduce inequality and improve quality of life.
