Join us online to dive into how AI is shaping the UK energy research scene!
In this online workshop you’ll hear from researchers working in the AI and Energy research space. This is the first Cross-Consortium Engagement Meeting for Researchers (CCEMr) – a dedicated, research-focused meeting for all UKRI-funded ‘sister’ energy consortia (around 20 consortia are invited) – organised jointly by the Energy Demand Research Centre (EDRC) and UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC).
Speakers have yet to be confirmed but will be drawn from our cohort of researchers. There will also be a chance to interact and ask questions.
Objectives
- To meet other researchers working in this space and learn about their current work.
- To discuss a possible AI and energy research agenda.

- A list of researchers and projects interested in this agenda
- A possible blog
- Potential establishment of a wider working group
- Possibility of starting to draft a shared research agenda
